How to enable it in the game
Set Head Tracking Source to TrackIR, then Head Tracking Enabled (Toggle) to Yes. These settings receive the view movement sent by TrackVisyon.
TrackIR names the game's compatible input source; you do not need to buy a TrackIR device. Menu labels may change with patches.
Head tracking and FOIP do different jobs
FOIP animates your character's face. For view movement sent by TrackVisyon, use the game's TrackIR source: you do not need to calibrate your face inside Faceware.
Step-by-step setup
Start tracking on your PC
Calibrate in your normal playing position and start TrackVisyon before launching Star Citizen. Leave the integrated engine running.
Choose the right source
Open Options → Comms, FOIP & Head Tracking. Set Head Tracking Source to TrackIR and Head Tracking Enabled (Toggle) to Yes. Labels may change between patches.
Test from the pilot's seat
Enter a ship and check the view movement. If it works on foot but not seated, check options that disable tracking in different situations and the head-tracking toggle binding.
Tailor your cockpit
Start with the included profile. Use Mapping Studio to adjust the centre and rotation so you can reach instruments and windows with comfortable movements.
If your view does not respond
The view stays still?
Recheck the TrackIR source, enabled setting and toggle binding. Run only one head-tracking output at a time, then restart the game with TrackVisyon already running.
Movement differs between your ship and character?
Star Citizen can apply different settings in different situations. Check the game's options before changing your TrackVisyon profile.
